Calvert converted a late penalty at 88 minute as Everton gained a very important point in their battle to avoid relegation with a draw against Newcastle.

 Newcastle get the lead at 15th minute through their striker Alexander Isak when he collected Harvey Barnes' ball over the Everton defence.

On 87 minute Paul Dummett had his arm around Ashley Young's neck and pulled him to the ground in penalty box. Referee Tony Harrington had not given a penalty at first, but was advised by the video assistant referee to watch the incident on a VAR monitoring screen,  then the penalty was given.

Now Everton is on position 16 with 26 points, 30 games played while Newcastle united is on 8th place with 44 points, 30 games played.

  Telecommunications company Airtel Limited Malawi is completing its final year of collaboration with the Football Association of Malawi (FAM) as the primary sponsor of the annual Airtel Top 8 tournament, there are no clear indications that the deal might be renewed. Croatia were crowned champions of the Egypt international Cup final on Tuesday, 26 , 2024 a tournament that nobody has ever heard of. Croatia beat Egypt after coming from a goal behind to win 4-2. Goals from Nikola Vlasic, Bruno Petkovic, Andrej Kramaric and Lovro Majer ensured success. An official trophy presentation saw Croatia lift the title in front of a rather empty stadium. Initially the tournament was set to be called the Winsunited Cup and take place in Abu Dhabi but was moved for sponsorship reasons.
