FODERN HAT-TRICK LIFTS CITIZENS SECOND

 Manchester City moved into second place with 49 points in English premier League, two points behind the league leaders Liverpool,as Fodern hat-trick was the catalyst for a convincing at Brentford 

Brentford actually took the lead through Neal Maupay's breakaway goal in the 21st minute,but it took a heroic performance from Brentford keeper Mark Flekken to keep the reigning champions at bay with string of stunning saves until Fodern struckle in first half.

Fodern goal gave city the added momentum they needed and he grabbed his second eight minutes after the break when he stole in behind bee's defence to glance de Bruyne's cross beyond the expose Flekken.

In the closing stage there was an angry up between Walker and Maupay, which the former needing to be calmed down by Gudiola.

    Malawi national football team, the flames lost  to Kenya at Bingu National Stadium by 4-0 in the 4-Nations Tournament. The visitors took the lead in seconds of the game through their captain Michael Olunga Ogaga. Ogaga   again added the second goal through the penalty spot  in the 5th minute of the game. Malawi had a chance in the 69th minute when the refereee awarded them a penalty. Suddenly Lloyd Aaron's spot kick was saved by Kenyan goalkeeper Patrick  Matasi. Ayubu Masika scored the third in the 84 minutes before Magambi Naguma made it more worse in the added time by  scoring a beautiful goal at 90+3. This means that Malawi will face Zambia in the third position game while Zimbabwe will face Kenya in the final of the tournament.

Croatia won an international trophy

Croatia were crowned champions of the Egypt international Cup final on Tuesday, 26 , 2024 a tournament that nobody has ever heard of. Croatia beat Egypt after coming from a goal behind to win 4-2. Goals from Nikola Vlasic, Bruno Petkovic, Andrej Kramaric and Lovro Majer ensured success. An official trophy presentation saw Croatia lift the title in front of a rather empty stadium. Initially the tournament was set to be called the Winsunited Cup and take place in Abu Dhabi but was moved for sponsorship reasons.
